We encounter many types of garden; old and new, large and small, well
stocked and not planted at all, well maintained and poorly maintained.
Each of these gardens has a different requirement from a maintenance
point of view and would also have a different requirement from a design
or landscaping perspective.
We frequently find that a garden may not actually need a formal
re-design or landscaping, but has gone beyond the maintenance stage, due
to overgrowth, crowding or the general accumulation of rubbish over the
years.
In these cases, Castle Gardens can advise on the best course of action,
whether it involves; (among a long list!) structuring plants,
rejuvenating borders, tree surgery to allow more light into the garden,
or the clearance of waste from the site.
After this stage is complete, we can the evaluate what is left and
suggest a plan for the future, such as planting to fill spaces, moving
plants to allow them to reach their potential or, simply nothing!
Our initial consultation is free, when we can discuss your requirements
and estimate for any work we agree that needs to be done in the future.
