Your needs in the garden as a family, couple or an individual will
largely determine the design form that your garden takes.
There may be practical considerations such as a paved or lawn area for
eating and socialising, or a retaining wall to hold back a slope. There
may be aesthetic principles involved, like a particular colour scheme or
a method to hide a neighbouring building. There may also be
geographical influences incorporated into the design, such as terracing a
steep slope or climatic differences within the garden.
Castle Gardens aims to incorporate all requirements of our clients,
together with the physical practicalities of achieving that design and
the ongoing maintenance requirements of that garden on completion.
We have carried out many design projects over the years, from a simple
patio and seating area, to full garden designs incorporating lawns,
raised beds, play areas, planting schemes and aquatic features.
We work on a consultation basis for design, where the initial visit is
free, and we will explain how we carry out the design process, usually
with several more visits to arrive at a completed plan.
